Public Comment: Hāpai Public and moments that matter

In the third of four anniversary articles, supporters of Hāpai Public recalled their favourite memories of the organisation. Mine was partnering with the central agencies, on behalf of Hāpai Public, to run three seminars on the Performance Improvement Framework. I said that these events gave us a rare chance to connect with people working in the middle levels of the public sector, to give them context for their work, and to give them a language for what they do every day. As I put it, creating spaces where public servants can learn and grow together is what Hāpai Public does best.
